Róma, Párizs, Velence – kétségtelenül ideális, bár kissé standard helyszínei egy romantikus külföldi hétvégének. Azoknak, akik inkább valami másra vágynak, most mutatunk öt tökéletesen romantikus, de mégis különleges úticélt Valentin napra – vagy bármikorra.
Rome, Paris, Venice – there is no doubt, that these cities are ideal, but are just a little bit too standard for a romantic weekend abroad. For those who would like to try something different, here are five perfectly romantic and unique destinations for Valentine’s day - or for any time.
1. Marrakesh
Miért? Marokkó negyedik legnagyobb városában nem csak kellemes, 17 fokos időre számíthatunk mostanában, de fapados légitársasággal viszonylag könnyedén, egy átszállással utazhatunk Budapestről (ennyit igazán megér). A legtöbb marrakeshi kávézó és étterem tetőterasszal rendelkezik, ahonnan egy üveg bor mellett nézhetjük a naplementét és a város nyüzsgését.
Why? Morrocco’s fourth biggest city can be easily reached from Budapest with a low coast airline. In addition to this, we can expect nice weather at about 17 degrees. Many of the cafes in Marrakesh have roof terraces, where you can laze together, glass of wine in hand and watch the sun set over the rooftops.
2. Toszkána / Tuscany
Miért? Történelem, gyönyörű tájak, finom ételek. Ha van olyan vidéke Olaszországnak, mely autentikusabb a többinél, akkor bizonyosan Toszkána az. Az észak-olaszországi régió rengeteg látnivalót rejt, melyek felfedezésére tökéletes alkalmat nyújthat egy romantikus hosszú hétvége.
Why? History, beautiful landscapes and tasty food. If there is a part of Italy, which is more authentic than the others, then Tuscany it is. The Northern-Italian region has lots of hidden treasures which are worth exploring during a romantic long weekend.
3. Bruges
Miért? Mert ez az egyik legszebb és legromantikusabb város Európában. Az UNESCO világörökségi listáján szereplő Bruges városképe alig változott a középkor óta; az óváros macskaköves utcáin sétálva régi erődítmények és malmok maradványaira bukkanhatunk. A romantika jegyében csónakázhatunk a várost átszelő számos csatorna egyikén, forró csokizhatunk és igazi kézműves csokoládét kóstolhatunk.
Why? Because this is one of the most beautiful and most romantic cities in Europe, which is listed by the UNESCO as a world heritage. Bruges’ cityscape hasn’t changed a lot since the Middle Ages. By walking on the old town’s cobbled streets, you can see remains of old fortresses and mills. It would be really romantic to take a boat trip on the canals, sipping a cup of hot chocolate or taste handmade chocolates.
4. Isztambul / Istanbul
Miért? Egzotikus, érdekes, különleges. A mecsetek, bazárok és szűk utcák kusza összevisszasága mellett Isztambul - mint Európa 2010-es kulturális fővárosa - rengeteg új kiállítással és galériával várja látogatóit. Akár a bizánci emlékek nyomába eredünk, akár a bazárok forgatagában veszünk el, Isztambulban nem foguk unatkozni. Na és egy hajókázás a Boszporuszon?
Why? Exotic, interesting and unique. Istanbul was European Capital of Culture in 2010 meaning that as well as the beautiful mosques and chaotic bazaars, there's a whole range of new exhibitions, shows and galleries to explore. And what about a ship cruise on the Bosphorus?
5. Valletta
Miért? Mert egy sziget mindig izgalmas és romantikus. Málta mediterrán éghajlatú fővárosában és egyben kulturális központjában nem csak káprázatos barokk paloták és katedrálisok közt sétálhatunk, de a híres Szent János Lovagrend titkait is megismerhetjük. Ráadásként a közeli Gozo szigetére is tehetünk egy kirándulást.
Why? Because an island is always exciting and romantic. In Malta’s Mediterranean climate capital and cultural centre you can walk among breathtaking baroque palaces and cathedrals or discover the secrets of the famous Knight Order of St. John. You can also go for a trip to the island of Gozo.
